Katayoun Moghadam, born in 1967
Received her MA in traditional arts from Alzahra Unversity (1993), and her MA in visual arts from UM (University of Malaysia, 2012). She started her doctorate at 2012 (unfinished). The importance of Technique in Persian Murals in the Recent Years (printed in Germany) is one of her writings. She has held dozens of solo and group exhibitions inside and outside of Iran, among which is Switzerland Art Fair (2003-6). She is the founder and manager of Aban Art Gallery (established in 2003). In addition to teaching at Alzahra University and Tehran University of Art, she has designed and executed numerous murals in Tehran since 1996.
کتایون مقدم ، متولد 1346
دوره کارشناسی هنرهای سنتی را در دانشگاه الزهرا گذرانده (1372) و درجه کارشناسی ارشد هنرهای بصری از دانشگاه یو ام مالزی را دارد (2012) . از همان سال تحصیل در دکترای هنرهای بصری را آغاز کرد ولی به پایان نرسانده است. کتاب اهمیت تکنیک در دیوارنگاره های ایران در سالهای اخیر (چاپ لمبرت آلمان) از جمله تالیفات اوست. کتایون مقدم از سال 1372 شرکت در بیش از ده ها نمایشگاه تک نفره و نمایشگاه های متعدد گروهی در داخل و خارج ازکشور را در کارنامه خود دارد، از جمله حراج تهران سال 97 و (آرت فر) سوییس در سالهای 2004 و 2005 ، موزه ملی سنت پترزبورگ (2016) و سمپوزیوم نقاشی پراگ (2017).
او همچنان مدیر و موسس گالری آبان در تهران در سال 1382 بوده است. در کنار تدریس در دانشگاهها ی هنر ، دیوارنگاره های متعددی را در تهران طراحی و اجرا کرده است از جمله می توان به مجموعه سردر، لابی و سالن خبرنگاران همایشهای صدا و سیما اشاره کرد. مجموعه دیوار نگاریهای شرکت ملی نفتکش و مجموعه موزه فدراسیون چوگان و صنایع دفاع از دیگر آثار اوست.
آثار نقاشی و سرامیک او علاوه بر مجموعه های خصوصی داخلی و خارجی توسط موزه ها یی چون موزه بانک پاسارگاد، موزه صنایع دستی ، موزه امام علی و موزه معاصر اصفهان وهنرهای تجسمی خریداری شده است.
